The Smiling Sun Franchise Program in Bangladesh serves more clients per year than any other health social franchise in the world, with over 25 million total clients served annually and served over 100 million through the life of the project. This project has a vast network of close to 9,000 satellite clinics and more than 6,300 community service providers across all 64 districts of Bangladesh.

» Sweet Success: Reaching New Markets in Dubai
Marking a historic event in Afghan agriculture, three shipments totaling more than 25 metric tons of Afghan sweet melons were flown in August to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, a new market for melons.
 
» Farmer Association in Haiti wins "best quality" award
COEPDA, the main farmer’s association in the area, was awarded the 2011 certificate of “best quality” mangos in Haiti.

» Chemonics Announces New Regional Business Unit Changes
Chemonics International announced it is restructuring its regional business divisions to become even more responsive to the needs of its clients in each local environment. The six current regional divisions will become 13 new regional business units. President and CEO Richard Dreiman announced the organization’s structural changes will be effective on November 7.
